HOLY COMMUNION
On December 19th, Mr. Sawada, Immaculate Conception School principal,
accompanied 7 children to the parish for a morning sacrament retreat.
It was a time for quiet prayer work, collaboration and contemplation of previously presented materials.
The following depicts part of the training for Holy Communion.
Father Stephen welcomed each child by name,
presenting a blessed Good Shepherd cross pendant
as a sign of our love and support.

On February 26th, we had the formal Rite of Welcome
for the children in the First Eucharist program!
They gathered and formally asked for 1st Communion,
which will be celebrated on the Feast of Corpus Christi (June 11).
They also promised to keep studying and preparing themselves for their sacrament. Well done!
On June 10th, the children participated in a Retreat.
On June 11th, before Mass, the children gathered In the hall to prepare their
bodies, hearts and minds to receive Jesus.
United by Jesus in the Eucharist we are one. One flock, one shepherd.
Celebrating receiving their First Eucharist!
